The author’s comments:
Being an upholder of ancient traditions, I thought the world was ready to enjoy a mystic Old Norse tale that only the nerdiest Rune-masters knew about. Consequently it was hidden from a wider audience, which I wanted to make more accessible through a graphic novel!
So when creating this book I deliberately choose an older storytelling style, with the (bilingual) texts underneath the illustrations, to enhance an impression of bygone times. As with any kind of myths, Kingdom Curse has a deeper purpose than just to entertain, even if it has that value too…
